How About Getting Married At Gillette Stadium?
Richard.....Teaneck, NJ
Question: My fiancee is planning everything and I feel guilty that I'm not doing much of anything to help her.
Answer: What the hell is wrong with you, Richard? She's happy doing the planning with her mother and friends. Your guilt trip is absurd. As long as you constantly ask if you can do anything to help, you are doing what you need to do...and that's to stay out of the way. If you really want to help her, then just support her. She'll tell you when she wants your input. In the meantime, don't speak until you're spoken to. Make sure she's happy. Just shut up and watch her walk down the aisle....and when she does, make sure you're honestly smiling like you've never smiled before...because that's her pay off for this entire wedding planning experience.
Wedding Tip #31
Technology is incredible. Everyone struggles to pin flowers onto jackets. The problem has been solved with magnets. Really! The tiny magnets are attached to the flower and the back of the jacket fabric. The two little magnets attract and that's it. No more pins. No more grooms yelling like they've just beeen stabbed by a pin. Yea, we'll miss that joke.

Wedding Tip #17
Grooms should understand these simple rules: Spend your reception time with your bride. You just got married. Try to be at her side. Dance with her. "Til death do we part" extends into the reception. Also, try to keep your jacket and tie on. We know you're uncomfortable. People are taking pictures. We call this sacrifice.
Wedding Tip #23
The reception facility is usually responsible for the placement of the DJ or band in the room. Please spare the agony to your elders. Do not seat them near the music speakers. You don't want to be responsible for deafening or killing them. This is a topic that is rarely, if ever discussed. Express your concerns to the DJ and the reception facility. It's just another one of those things that you wouldn't think about unless someone like us brought it up.

Question: We're considering not doing the garter and bouquet traditional thing. Should we replace it with something else? Any ideas?
Answer: Whatever. The garter removal process is becoming obsolete, yet many consider it a "must do." Women don't wear garters anymore and men shouldn't be crawling up a woman's gown in public to get it. Traditions hold strong,, however. You might consider presenting the bouquet to an unmarried bridesmaid or to the bride's mother. Your DJ can also tell you about the "anniversary dance," where the longest married couple wins the bouquet. Or just skip it altogether,
